PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Hello Fellow Russian Tumbler Breeders:
January 15, 2008
It’s the end of the show season with the Grand National just getting over. I hope someone that attended this event will send in an article and share the experience with the rest of us for the next newsletter.
I’ve talked to some members in warmer climates that have already begun to put their birds together. Many of us in the colder regions won’t do that until the end of February.
You will also find enclosed several updated show reports. These will also be updated on the new website. In the next newsletter we want to enclose an updated membership list. So please check the label of this newsletter and see if you have paid your 2008 dues. Send your dues to Joe Grau or Jay Cassella.
Many of you know that Jay Cassella no longer raises pigeons because of health reasons. He has graciously agreed to continue to be the band distributor for 2008. After this newsletter goes out, Joseph Philip will take over the publicity director tasks from Jay as well as becoming the new web master for the club’s web site. The new site can be found at www.thenationalrussiantumblerclub.org. The newsletter is an extremely important part of the club. It keeps members in the loop of club and member activities. Unfortunately, sending the newsletter is the biggest expense of the club. We want to begin emailing the newsletters to those members who have email addresses. We will continue to mail via US postage to any members who do not wish for the electronic newsletter.
Please email, call or write your email addresses to:
Joseph Philip
26 Spofford Rd., Worcester, MA 01607
Phone: 508-736-9013
Email: pigeonman@thenationalrussiantumblerclub.org.
We would like to hear from the members for future articles for our newsletter. The success of the newsletter depends on all members. Joe Philip will start call each member to get more information and see what you can send or write for the newsletter.
Regards,
Bill
